Accounting
Complete double-entry bookkeeping — ledgers, journals, cost centres, multi-currency, bank reconciliation, and financial statements produced on demand rather than at month end.
Tally Gold Partner & Integrator
Accounting, inventory, VAT, payroll and reporting in one system — supplied, configured and supported by a Tally Gold Partner based in Muscat.
TallyPrime is the current generation of Tally, replacing Tally.ERP 9. It runs the full financial cycle of a business — from raising a quotation to filing a VAT return — in a single application, on your own hardware, with your data under your control.
For most Omani SMEs the appeal is specific: it is fast on modest hardware, it does not require a permanent internet connection, accountants across the Gulf already know how to use it, and the licence is a one-time purchase rather than a per-user monthly fee that grows with headcount.
TallyPrime is built for the 5% VAT regime Oman introduced in 2021. It separates standard-rated, zero-rated and exempt supplies, tracks input and output VAT, prints bilingual Arabic and English tax invoices, and produces the VAT return summary your filing is based on.
The software supports all of that out of the box. What it does not do is guess how your business works — which tax ledgers you need, how to treat your specific supplies, how to handle reverse charge on imports. That configuration is the implementation work, and getting it wrong is why some businesses find their VAT return never reconciles to their books.
We train by role rather than by feature list. Your accountant learns voucher entry, reconciliation and the VAT return; your storekeeper learns stock movement and delivery notes; the owner learns the four or five reports that answer "how is the business doing". Sessions run in English, Arabic, Hindi or Malayalam, on your own company data rather than a demo file.

Every TallyPrime licence includes the full feature set. Silver and Gold differ only in how many people can use it at once.
Complete double-entry bookkeeping — ledgers, journals, cost centres, multi-currency, bank reconciliation, and financial statements produced on demand rather than at month end.
Multi-godown stock tracking, batches and expiry, serial numbers, reorder levels, stock ageing, and manufacturing journals for businesses that assemble or process goods.
Oman VAT throughout the transaction flow, with tax invoices, credit and debit notes, input tax credit tracking and the return summary used for filing.
Employee masters, salary structures, attendance-linked pay, end-of-service calculations and payslips, posted straight into the accounts.
Over four hundred built-in reports — ratio analysis, cash flow, ageing, profitability by item, customer or cost centre — drillable from summary to the underlying voucher.
Payment advice, cheque printing and management, automated bank reconciliation, and e-payment file generation for bulk transfers.
Anyone can sell you a serial number. Here is what actually changes your result.

Silver against Gold, what TSS costs and includes, and how to work out which edition your team actually needs.
TallyPrime price in OmanWhen standard Tally is not enough — custom invoice formats, reports, approval workflows and system integrations built in TDL.
Tally customisationWhat Oman's Fawtara mandate will require, when it applies to you, and how to get TallyPrime ready ahead of your phase.
Fawtara readinessTallyPrime is business management software from Tally Solutions covering accounting, inventory, taxation, payroll, banking and financial reporting in one system. It is the successor to Tally.ERP 9, with a redesigned interface, a global search bar and a 'go to' navigation model that lets you move between reports without losing your place.
Silver is a single-user licence: one person, on one computer, at a time. Gold is a multi-user licence: unlimited users working simultaneously on the same company data across one local network. The features are identical — the difference is concurrency. If more than one person needs to be in Tally at the same time, you need Gold.
The licence is a one-time perpetual purchase — you own it. Separately there is TSS (Tally Software Services), an annual subscription that provides product updates, remote access, online data synchronisation and Tally.NET features. The software keeps working if TSS lapses; you simply stop receiving updates, which matters most when statutory changes like e-invoicing arrive.
Yes. TallyPrime handles Oman's 5% VAT regime including standard-rated, zero-rated and exempt supplies, input and output VAT tracking, and VAT return summaries for Oman Tax Authority filing. It prints bilingual Arabic and English tax invoices, which is what Omani VAT rules expect.
Yes. TallyPrime opens Tally.ERP 9 company data directly and migrates it on first open. Your ledgers, vouchers, stock items and history carry across. We take a verified backup first, run the migration, then reconcile trial balance and stock summary against the old system before you go live. Existing licences can usually be upgraded rather than repurchased.
Unlimited. A single licence can hold as many companies as you need, and TallyPrime can keep multiple companies open at once for comparison and consolidated reporting — useful for group structures and businesses with separate trading entities.
Yes, with active TSS. Remote access lets an authorised user open the company data from another location through Tally.NET, and the browser-based reports feature lets owners view key business reports from a phone or laptop without a full Tally installation.
A straightforward single-company setup with clean opening balances typically runs one to two weeks including training. Migrations from another accounting system, multi-branch structures or heavy customisation take longer. We give a written scope and timeline before starting.
Tally Solutions appoints a small number of authorised partners in the Sultanate, graded by tier. Ample Technology LLC is a Tally Gold Partner and Tally Integrator based in Muscat, serving customers nationwide since 2010. Buying from an authorised partner is what guarantees the licence is genuine, is registered in your own company name, and comes with a support path when something goes wrong.
You can download TallyPrime free of charge from Tally Solutions and run it in educational mode without buying a licence. Educational mode lets you learn the software and enter transactions, but it restricts the dates you can post to and will not produce a usable set of books for a real business. To run a company properly you need a licence. The download is free; the licence is what you buy.
Yes. TallyPrime can be installed and trialled before you commit, and we will set up a trial with your own chart of accounts and a sample of your real transactions rather than a demo company. Judging accounting software on someone else's demo data tells you very little about whether it fits your business.
Tally Solutions releases TallyPrime updates regularly, and the current release is always available through your Tally.NET account while TSS is active. We will tell you which release you are on and whether upgrading is worth doing now - a mid-year upgrade is occasionally worth deferring. Statutory features such as Oman e-invoicing arrive through these releases, which is the practical reason to keep TSS live.
Yes. TallyPrime prints bilingual Arabic and English tax invoices, which is what Oman's VAT rules expect, and Arabic text can appear on the documents your customers receive. The data entry interface itself is in English, which in practice suits most accounting teams in Oman. Arabic invoice layouts are part of the implementation, and we test them on your actual printer before go-live.
For most Omani SMEs, yes - and for three specific reasons rather than general praise. Finance staff across the Gulf are already trained on it, so hiring and handover are easier. It handles Oman's 5% VAT and bilingual tax invoices natively. And it is a one-time perpetual licence rather than a per-user monthly fee that grows every time you hire. Where it is not the right answer is multi-stage manufacturing or project accounting across long contracts, where an ERP fits better.
TallyPrime is the current generation and replaces Tally.ERP 9. The accounting engine is familiar, but the interface was redesigned around a global search bar and a 'go to' model that lets you jump between reports without losing your place. Tally.ERP 9 data opens directly in TallyPrime and migrates on first open, so upgrading does not mean starting again.
We will set up a short demo using data that looks like yours - your invoice format, your stock, your VAT treatment - so you can judge it properly rather than watching a generic tour.
