Invoice formats breaking after a printer change, Arabic text rendering wrong, page breaks in the wrong place, or a format that worked last month and does not now.
Same-working-day response
When Tally stops cooperating at month end, you need someone who answers. Local engineers, remote and on-site, plus TSS renewals tracked so your licence never lapses by accident.
This is the single most common point of confusion we get asked about, so here it is plainly.
| TSS (from Tally) | AMC (from us) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Tally Solutions' annual software subscription | Our support and maintenance contract |
| Product updates & new versions | Yes | No |
| Remote access & Tally.NET | Yes | No |
| Someone to call when it breaks | No | Yes |
| On-site engineer visits | No | Yes |
| Training refreshers | No | Yes |
| Data health checks & backup review | No | Yes |
| If it lapses | Software runs, updates stop | Support reverts to pay-per-call |
Invoice formats breaking after a printer change, Arabic text rendering wrong, page breaks in the wrong place, or a format that worked last month and does not now.
VAT return not reconciling to the ledgers, stock value disagreeing with the balance sheet, an opening balance nobody can explain. Usually configuration, occasionally entry.
Corruption after a power cut or improper shutdown, companies that will not open, missing vouchers. Recoverable in most cases — call before doing anything else.
Security levels, who can edit posted vouchers, restricting cost centres or ledgers by user, and audit trails for what changed.
Gold licence not visible across the LAN, slow performance over the network, sudden disconnections, or a licence that stopped recognising the server.
Moving from Tally.ERP 9 or an older TallyPrime release safely, with customisations checked and data verified before and after.

A surprising share of the calls we take are infrastructure, not software: a Gold licence that stopped being visible across the network, a server that was moved, a backup that has quietly been failing for months, a power event that corrupted a data file.
Because we also build and maintain the networks and servers these systems run on, we do not spend a week bouncing you between the accounting vendor and the IT vendor. One team owns the whole path from the keyboard to the data file.
Priced on the size of your setup and the response times you need. Quoted in writing after a short health check.
Not on an AMC? Pay-per-call support is available and always has been.
Send us your serial number and we will tell you your TSS status, what renewal costs, and whether a support contract makes sense for your setup.
Urgent problem right now? Call +968 9895 8169 or WhatsApp us — do not wait for a form reply.
They are different things and you may want both. TSS is Tally Solutions' own annual subscription — it delivers product updates, remote access and Tally.NET services, and it comes from Tally, not from us. An AMC is our support contract: a named engineer, agreed response times, troubleshooting, training refreshers and health checks. TSS keeps the software current; the AMC keeps your people working.
No. Your licence is perpetual and TallyPrime keeps running on the version you have. What stops is updates, remote access and Tally.NET services. The risk is timing rather than immediate breakage — statutory features such as e-invoicing support arrive through product updates, so a lapsed TSS is how businesses end up doing an emergency upgrade under a compliance deadline.
Renewal pricing is set by Tally Solutions and depends on your edition. If the subscription has been lapsed for a while, Tally may add a reactivation charge on top of the standard renewal. We check your licence status and give you the exact figure before you commit — no surprises after the fact.
Standard response is same working day. Most issues — a printer format, a report that will not balance, a user permission problem — are resolved remotely within the same call. On-site visits are scheduled where the problem genuinely needs someone in the room, and AMC customers get priority in the queue.
Yes. You are not required to have bought the licence from us to take a support contract. We start with a health check to see what state the setup is in, then quote the AMC from there.
Yes. Tally data corruption is usually recoverable, and the outcome depends heavily on what happens in the first hour — specifically, on not making it worse. Stop working in the affected company, do not delete anything, and call us. We work from a copy so the original is never at further risk.
Yes. Training runs role by role — entry and reconciliation for accountants, stock handling for storekeepers, the reports that matter for owners — delivered in English, Arabic, Hindi or Malayalam on your own company data. It is included in AMC contracts and available standalone.
Ample Technology provides Tally support across the Sultanate from Muscat, by phone, WhatsApp and remote session, with on-site visits where a problem genuinely needs someone in the room. Standard response is the same working day. You do not need to have bought your licence from us to take support - we start with a health check on the existing setup and quote from what we find.
Most issues are resolved online in the same call. A printer format that stopped working, a report that will not balance, a user permission problem or a VAT setting are all fixable over a remote session. On-site visits are for the problems that need hardware, cabling or a server looked at directly.
Yes - call +968 9895 8169 or message the same number on WhatsApp during working hours, Sunday to Thursday 8:30am to 6:00pm and Saturday mornings. That reaches an engineer rather than a ticket queue. If your system is down, call rather than emailing a form.
An AMC is priced on the size of your setup and the response times you need - how many users, how many sites, whether you need extended-hours or month-end cover. We quote in writing after a short health check rather than from a template, because a single-user Silver licence and a six-branch Gold installation are genuinely different commitments.
Stop using the affected company immediately and do not delete or move anything. Most Tally data corruption is recoverable, and the outcome depends heavily on what happens in the first hour - specifically, on not making it worse by repeatedly reopening or running repair tools blind. Call us, and we will work from a copy so the original is never at further risk.
One number, local engineers, and a contract that means somebody is accountable when month end goes wrong.
